NEW YORK, N.Y. - Major League Soccer has fined one player for striking at the head and two for flopping. The league says its disciplinary committee sanctioned Kansas City defender Igor Juliao for striking D.C. Uniteds Davy Arnaud in the head or face in a game on May 31, and Montreal defender Hassoun Camara and Vancouver midfielder Sebastian Fernandez for attempting to draw fouls. Camara was cited for simulation, which means contact was not made when he attempted to influence the officials in a match on May 31 against New England. Fernandezs fine was for embellishment against Portland on Sunday, when he grabbed at his face and fell over despite being contacted only on his arms. The amounts of the fines were not disclosed. REGINA -- Receivers Chris Getzlaf and Rob Bagg and offensive linemen Brendon LaBatte and Dominic Picard all signed contract extensions to remain with the Grey Cup-champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. Getzlaf, Bagg and Picard are under contract to the CFL club through the 2015 season while LaBattes deal covers the 2016 campaign. Getzlaf, 30, a Regina native, has played his entire seven-year CFL career with the Riders. Getzlaf had 63 catches for 1,045 yards and seven TDs during the regular season before adding three receptions for 78 yards in being named the top Canadian in Saskatchewans 45-23 Grey Cup win over Hamilton. Baggg, 28, of Kingston, Ont.dddddddddddd, completed his sixth season with Saskatchewan, registering 34 catches for 430 yards and four TDs. Bagg enters the 2014 campaign with 168 career receptions for 2,365 yards and 12 touchdowns. LaBatte, of Weyburn, Sask., was the CFLs top lineman this year as well as a league all-star. The former University of Regina star was selected in the first round, sixth overall, by Winnipeg in the 2008 CFL draft. Picard, 31, of Ste-Foy, Que., joined the Riders as a free agent following the 2012 season. He started all 18 regular-season games and the clubs three post-season contests.
